HEALTHCARE

Because of extreme growth, Caduceus Healthcare was in need of additional space. After we evaluated the options to continue to lease space or to purchase a building, they elected to buy the only office space in the historic Healey building in downtown Atlanta.

Ownership wanted to maintain the historic nature of the property and combine it into the design.  By working closely with the ownership, Facilitec merged five office suites into one and then proceeded to create an open environment that complemented both their culture and the history of the Healy building.

Facilitec combined non-historic components, such as systems furniture, with the historic appearance of the building by managing consistent design and colors throughout. By designing new components such as the reception desk, doors and hardware you begin to feel a sense of stepping back into the era when the hundred year old building was built. Additional areas that were addressed included a break area that is flooded with a light and looks over some of the historic aspects of the building, a workout facility with shower and security that met the standards of the government clients.

Mirion knows radiation and is a leader in detection products, training and other safety products. When they decided to relocate their facility in Atlanta, they looked to Facilitec for project management to move their company to a new facility that was more conducive to their current employees and more appealing to new talent. After 20 years, they moved to Atlanta’s thriving Upper Westside on Menlo Drive.

The 32,000 square foot warehouse facility was transformed to an open office space with an environment that reflects Mirion’s company culture and objectives. The facility includs a conference center, experience center and a laboratory for testing and development. Facilitec worked in partnership with ASD design and Office Interiors to design and build the environment. The facility was created with a fresh open environment filled with exterior light and high open ceilings. Office Interiors designed the furnishings to compliment the progressive design. Both ASD and Office Interiors worked collectively to ensure that the finishes created a seamless design that filled the company’s objectives and goals.

The joint effort of Scotland Wright Associates, Facilitec, Humphries Construction and Office Interiors made for a problem free project that is now home for the organization.
