Morganstern, a diagnostic and treatment center for men’s health, came to Facilitec with the need to have an upscale facility for their practice. They would use the practice we designed as a prototype when they rolled out a national program with offices in multiple locations. As most would expect the cost for high styled medical is not inexpensive. Once the project went through schematic design and the cost was higher than expected,  the project was refocused on a more cost-effective approach to lower cost for the national rollout.

The project has proven to be the right balance of innovative design and cost. They have continued to use the facility for an ongoing practice location and prototype.

Mirion knows radiation and is a leader in detection products, training and other safety products. When they decided to relocate their facility in Atlanta, they looked to Facilitec for project management to move their company to a new facility that was more conducive to their current employees and more appealing to new talent. After 20 years, they moved to Atlanta’s thriving Upper Westside on Menlo Drive.

The 32,000 square foot warehouse facility was transformed to an open office space with an environment that reflects Mirion’s company culture and objectives. The facility includs a conference center, experience center and a laboratory for testing and development. Facilitec worked in partnership with ASD design and Office Interiors to design and build the environment. The facility was created with a fresh open environment filled with exterior light and high open ceilings. Office Interiors designed the furnishings to compliment the progressive design. Both ASD and Office Interiors worked collectively to ensure that the finishes created a seamless design that filled the company’s objectives and goals.

The joint effort of Scotland Wright Associates, Facilitec, Humphries Construction and Office Interiors made for a problem free project that is now home for the organization.
