GOVERNMENT

OSAH (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) assures safe and healthful working conditions for workers by setting and enforcing standards as well as providing training, outreach, education and assistance. OSAH was created in 1970 as part of the United States Department of Labor.

Due to a building buyout, OSAH’s Georgia office was being displaced. Facilitec was called to make the move as they had limited time. It was a fast track move with a few challenges such as site lines for security guards and metal detectors. There were two floors to coordinate one with administrative offices and the other with courtrooms. There was a space which needed to be designed with a dual purpose. It was a public waiting area that could be converted to an event space.

We designed a space including furniture bids and procurement that met all their needs on time and within budget.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Mirion knows radiation and is a leader in detection products, training and other safety products. When they decided to relocate their facility in Atlanta, they looked to Facilitec for project management to move their company to a new facility that was more conducive to their current employees and more appealing to new talent. After 20 years, they moved to Atlanta’s thriving Upper Westside on Menlo Drive.

The 32,000 square foot warehouse facility was transformed to an open office space with an environment that reflects Mirion’s company culture and objectives. The facility includs a conference center, experience center and a laboratory for testing and development. Facilitec worked in partnership with ASD design and Office Interiors to design and build the environment. The facility was created with a fresh open environment filled with exterior light and high open ceilings. Office Interiors designed the furnishings to compliment the progressive design. Both ASD and Office Interiors worked collectively to ensure that the finishes created a seamless design that filled the company’s objectives and goals.

The joint effort of Scotland Wright Associates, Facilitec, Humphries Construction and Office Interiors made for a problem free project that is now home for the organization.
